The first day they came, we went to Garden of the Gods to walk around. We then headed home for nap time and just grilled out dinner that night while the kids played in the backyard.
The next morning, we got up and out early to head to our favorite breakfast place in the mountains.
After breakfast, we headed to Manitou Springs to play in the penny arcade.
Cameron got the high score on Glaxa.
We came home for naps and lunch, then got up and went to bowl.
The next day we got up and had a photo shoot. We tried to get my family photos done and some good cousin shots. It was a little hotter than normal and difficult getting a picture of all six kids, but Emily did great and got some great shots. I will post these in a separate post. That afternoon, we went to our friend Sammy's second birthday party down at Fort Carson. The kids all had a blast and we were glad they got to meet some of our friends. Sunday: Cameron, Nick, Liam and Presley all headed to Denver to watch the Colorado Rockies take on the Chicago Cubs. They had a wonderful time! The kids ate, danced to the music and enjoyed watching the game with their daddies.
I need to upload the pictures from our last 2 days and will post those separately. As you can see, we had a great trip and we are so thankful the Barkers made the trip with 3 kids and 3 car seats in tow! I am sure it wasn't easy to travel here, but we are so glad they came to see us. We had so much fun every day and the kids loved getting to be together again.
