Barker's Visit- Continued

On Sunday while the boys took Liam and Presley to the Rockies' game, Emily and I took Bryn, David, Nora and Anna to the park then to dinner. Bryn loved helping David at the park and they quickly became BFF. David calls her "Bree" and walked around looking for her the rest of their visit. Dinner went ok with the 4 kids... Poor Anna had bad tummy issues and I didn't have her gas drops in my diaper bag, so we rushed through dinner to get home and get her relief.

Monday, we headed out early to the zoo then went out to a new restaurant for dinner. We had a table for 10 with 2 highchairs and 2 slings. We took up most of the restaurant, but all the kids behaved wonderfully and we had a great time!
Petting the new baby wallaby.
Tuesday, the boys headed out early to the local casino that's up the mountain. It's a beautiful drive so they spent most of the day there. Emily and I took all 6 kids to the park then let them just play outside. We were homebound since we all can't fit in a car together... too bad we didn't buy a 15 passenger van! Anyway, we had a great time and we got caught up on laundry and packing them up for their trip home the next day.

Nick gave his goddaughter a cool new engineering for girls game. She loves it and has played several times since they left. It's a really neat game where you follow a design and recreate it on a board. It was really sweet of Nick to think of Presley and pass along one of his passions to her.

We had another Anna/Nora photo shoot in their matching outfits from Grandma Debbie.

David got a great early birthday present- his very own motorcycle (Momo) to ride in the house. He loves this gift! He is obsessed with all things transportation these days, but especially motorcycles.

As you can see, we had a blast with the Barker's and hope they'll come visit again next summer!!
