Last Day of Preschool

Presley had her last day of preschool today. It was so bittersweet for both of us. She loves school and does not understand why she needs a summer break. We will both miss the great friends we've made at school. We have finally been able to enjoy playing outside in warmer weather.
Anna now sings "Let it Go" and does her arms like David and Presley.
A trip to Lowe's with these two birds.
Presley made all her friends these cards last night and passed them out today. It was so sweet! She has such a sweet heart.
Her class with teachers, Mrs. Noble and Mrs. Downs.
After school, I took them out to lunch. She wanted Olive Garden, but there was a wait so we went around the corner to Steak and Shake. Needless to say, the kids were thrilled with hamburgers and milkshakes.
Anna enjoyed eating out of the hat
Came home and played outside this afternoon.
Here's her survey for 2014:
1.  What I want to be when I grow up? A cowgirl (never heard that one before...)
2.  Favorite color? Gold
3.  Best friends? Ella and Nora
4.  Favorite dinner? Cornflake chicken
5.  Favorite TV shows? My Little Pony and PAW Patrol
6.  Favorite activity? Art
7.  Favorite restaurant? Olive Garden
8.  Favorite movie? Aladdin

I can't believe Presley will start kindergarten this Fall. I am not ready to be away from her every day of the week, but I guess we will make do. I will miss having her home and playing with us so much! I'm so proud of you, Presley! You are going to do so wonderful next year! Can't wait to watch you thrive!

More TX pictures and Easter

We took pictures of the kids in the bluebonnets while I was in town.  Turned out cute!

Cousin photo shoot with Mallie and Dallie and Tippy and Alex
I LOVE this one! She just adored Dallie.
We got home the day before Easter Sunday. The kids were so excited to have the Easter bunny come to our house. Presley even left him a note. It was really sweet!
 Loved her new water bottle!
Went straight to teething on it...
The kids LOVED their scooters. They scootered inside, then we went outside when it got a little warmer. They have scootered every day since!
Presley's Dance recital is coming up and she had picture day last week. She looks SO cute in this costume. I love that they're doing a tap routine, too.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! Actually, it was more like a full weekend. We celebrated with sushi on Saturday night, my favorite. Sunday morning, I got to sleep in then we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrell. The kids all loved it, especially Anna. I gave her a bite of my hashbrown casserole and next thing I know, she had pulled my entire plate over and was eating the rest of it. She loves to eat and I'm so thankful she eats such a variety. We stayed home the rest of the day since it was SNOWING! Craziness, but it was nice to relax and just hang out here. Cameron grilled me some fish the next weekend when the weather was much nicer. It was a great day spent with my sweet, little family! I'm so grateful to these three for making me a mom. I love them all so much and cherish all our time with them!
I went to a Mother's Day Tea with Presley the Friday before Mother's Day. It was so cute and she was so excited to share with me all the surprises they'd been planning.
We also had her dance recital that weekend. She did such a great job! She takes it so seriously and dances so well. She's a natural! I couldn't be more proud! I hope she dances for years to come.

We pulled out David's train set again the other day. He is obsessed! The trains go everywhere with us and even watch him eat and sleep.
Presley has been busy with her fashion design set. She has created designs using Amelia and Daniel's fashion design kit they just gave her for her birthday. She has really impressed us with her design and creativity. She has made lots of different designs and even added backpacks and accessories to them.
Anna after her first spaghetti dinner. She is now eating everything we eat for her meals. She loves feeding herself now. Breakfast she normally has cheerios and a fruit, lunch is chunks of ham and cheese and dinner is usually a variety of something we are having. She loves noodles and any type of meat.

Lately

We've had a busy week since Presley's birthday party and D and G left town. Here's Presley modeling her new pj's from Nana and Bulldog.
My new glasses came in so David and I headed to the PX to pick them up while Presley was in school.  He loves this momo that is inside the PX.
I don't know the last time he fell asleep in the car. He must've been exhausted!
We went to the zoo with Presley's preschool last week. Presley had a great time walking the whole zoo with Ella. David had fun hanging out with all the older kids.
Poor Anna was sick for the first time last week. She had a high fever and was so pitiful. She didn't eat for a few days, either.
Thankfully, she got better and had her first babysitter while Cameron and I went to his battalion ball. Anna did better with the sitter than I thought she would. We had a great time getting a night out with friends!

We had a fun afternoon watching the Derby with friends the next day. Then, we got up early Sunday to take family pictures. I can't wait to see the finished product! Presley and I then went to one of her best friend's, Ella's, birthday party. It was also Frozen themed and she had a blast!
