Our lil pumpkin

We are so excited for Halloween this year! Presley has two costumes- this pumpkin and her tiger one I posted a week ago. Here's her pumpkin that Amelia got her. It fit her perfectly. She wore it to her Halloween playdate yesterday. Her schedule is so busy these days, it sometimes tough for me to keep up! I did have to cancel her Halloween party today because I am still not feeling good.

Presley is now 6 months old!! I cannot believe what a big girl she is. She went to the pediatrician on Monday and here's her stats : 15lbs, 6 oz and 25.5" long. She has grown 2 inches the past 2 months!! Not sure where that came from, but we'll take it. She's playing a ton these days and LOVES to babble and talk. I swear she's saying "da da da" now. I don't think she knows what it means, but just mumbles it a lot.

Aunt Rachel made these cute letters for Presley's room this summer when she was here visiting and we just got around to hanging them. They look GREAT in her room!! Thanks, Aunt ReRe. Presley misses you!!!

Baptism

We have had a busy few weeks! We've been doing lots of playdates with all our new friends. Here's a picture of all the little ones at Mia's playdate- Babies and Halos. They all wore white. Presley was a little hungry during picture time, so she wasn't making the best faces.

Cameron's parents and grandmother came in town this weekend for her baptism. We had a great weekend and Presley even let them all hold her. She loved playing with them and already misses her family. I'll post more pictures when I get copies of the ones they took. I didn't have many on my camera.

Presley caught her second wind when we went to dinner on Friday night. Here's our little party animal.

Her Baptism was this morning at our church. She looked beautiful in her gown. She wore the same gown me and my sisters all wore. She didn't even cry too hard when the preacher held her during the ceremony. Thanks to everyone for coming this afternoon and celebrating her Baptism with us!! We are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends!

This is the book Bulldog and Nana sent her for her Baptism. It's a book of prayers, but she thought it looked pretty tasty this afternoon.

Cameron carved our pumpkin for her tonight. It has got to be the thickest pumpkin ever created, so we went with an easy design. It looks great though and Presley had a good time watching him carve it.

I will definitely post some more of the pictures from this weekend. We had a blast and are so glad everyone could come visit us!!

Rice Cereal!!

Presley tried rice cereal this morning!! Here's the video. She didn't so much like it, but we'll keep trying this week and see if she changes her mind. We're going to try a veggie later this week. Where does the time go!?! She seems too little to be eating from a bowl and spoon.

We have been so busy lately. We went back down to Killeen this past weekend to visit John and Libby and Baby Parker again. John got home from Iraq last weekend and we hadn't seen him since March. It was a lot of fun hanging out with them again. We did leave Presley with my parents for the weekend. That was harder than I thought, but it was SO nice to sleep in in the morning and not watch her monitor all night long. She's definitely been super clingy since we picked her up yesterday afternoon. I think she's scared we're going to pull a fast one on her again. I don't know why though, she had a great time with Mallie and Dallie. They played with her all weekend! We were so appreciative they were able to keep her for us!

We did go to the Pumpkin Patch today with Presley's best girlfriend, Mia. Here's some pics of the girls in their costumes. Cameron's mom got Presley this tiger costume and she looked so cute!! I can't get the one of them together to post, but I'll keep trying. Presley's getting baptized this weekend and Lea, David and Cameron's grandmother are all coming in town!! We can't wait to see everyone!

Baby Parker is HERE!

Our best friends, Libby and John, welcomed baby Parker on Wednesday early in the morning. We got the call early Tuesday morning that Libby's water had broke, so we packed, threw Presley in the car in her jammies and raced down to Fort Hood so we could be there for Parker's arrival. It was absolutely amazing!! John was in Iraq on his way home, so I got to be there for everything... it was such a miracle. I'm happy to say mom and baby are doing great and John should be home tomorrow to meet his new baby! Parker was 6lbs, 3 oz and 18 inches long. She's too cute. Presley and Parker are going to be such great friends and we're so excited they're so close in age!

Pajama Party

Presley had a bunch of her friends over on Wednesday morning for a Pajama Party! It was so cute to see all the kiddos in the jammies and so nice not to worry about getting her dressed that morning (especially since she'll sleep till 9 some mornings)! Here's some of her buddies:

We're staying pretty busy these days. Presley has really started to take an interest in her toys and now loves to play! I love the stage she's in right now. We have a busy month of October that we're looking forward to... Presley's getting baptized later this month and Cameron's parents and grandmother are coming out to visit for her Baptism! We can't wait to see them!
