Kids' Vacation in Texas

We went to my parents for almost 3 weeks. Cameron and I then drove for two days to get both our cars out to California. The kids stayed with my parents for 12 days while we got moved in, settled... and squeezed in two trips to Vegas! It was great to have some time to ourselves and know the kids were in great hands. Here's some pictures from our visit and the kids extended stay.
We had lots of playtime in the pool. Anna loved the water.
 My sweet goddaughter!!

 Dallie's movie night
We had a really fun playdate at Emily's house one Friday
And another great playdate at the indoor soccer field

Uncle Nick, best godfather ever, took Presley and Liam on a precious date to Olive Garden.  He even let her pack a purse and picked her up at the door, showing her just how she needs to be treated. It was so sweet and thoughtful of him and I know it completely made her day!! Thankful for such a great godfather to our first-born.
Grandma Debbie even pitched in to help while we were driving to California. Debbie, Mal and Emmy managed to get all 6 kids to storytime and dance class on time. They even stopped to feed the ducks and have a picnic! Truly amazing!
Liam is a great babysitter and entertains the babies so well for us!
I got to squeeze in several dinners out with my mommy friends and even a shopping trip with my personal shopper, Meha, before we left town. So glad to get this extra time with my siblings.
Trying to scratch each other's backs at the same time while watching a movie.

I know the kids had an awesome vacation and we are so appreciative to our families for helping out with the kids so we could make the long drive to California and get a house before the kids arrived. We are here and settled so I'll start posting some pictures of our new place and our new activities!

Father's Day

I know these are getting out of order, but I'm still catching up! We celebrated Father's Day in Texas this year. It was the day before Anna's birthday.  It was also really special to actually get to celebrate with my dad on Father's Day.

I don't know how this happened, but I have no pictures of Cameron with our kids on Father's Day. We had a great day, though. We went out to Dunkin that morning and got Cameron his extra large cup of coffee. Then, we made him bacon, egg and cheese biscuits for breakfast. We spent the rest of the day at the pool with the Lingerfelt's and Barkers, Mallie, Dallie and G. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad Cameron was with us to celebrate since it was smack in the middle of our PCS.

Cameron is a great dad to our three babies. He always puts them first and goes out of his way to make sure they are taken care of. He has made our move to California very special for them and we've already taken them out to do some new fun things here. Not to mention, he provides and works very hard at his job to take care of me and the kids. Thanks for being a great dad! We love you!!
And here's Dallie with all his grandbabies
No picture of Cameron with our kids, but here he is with sweet Nora!
He quickly won her over with a doughnut hole then a baby food jar.
And here's our sweet, goddaughter, Brynnie!! Love this beautiful girl!

Grandmom and G Come Visit!!

Grandmom and G came out to visit us while we were in Texas in the middle of our move. It was so great to see both of them and I'm so glad they got such great time with the kids.
Grandmom came first right before Anna's birthday. Presley and Grandmom got to play the paper dolls she bought Pres for her birthday. They were a hit!
The big kids all started swim lessons the day grandmom arrived so she got to watch them in action. I'm so glad we did this while in Texas. Presley learned so much and was swimming all on her own by the end of the two weeks. She progressed so quickly! I was very impressed. David and Bryn were in the same class, which was very good for him. I wasn't sure how he would do and he did great. I really think it helped that he could watch Bryn do something first and go out with the instructor. Before their first class, Bryn told me, "Don't worry Rachey, I will watch David and I will tell you if he is good or not." haha  By the end of it, David was going out on the bubble and bobbing in the water and learning how to cup his hands. It was a great experience for them both!
We took Grandmom to one of my new favorite parks there! The kids loved it and it actually wasn't too hot that day!
Mr. I do it myself climbing the net in the big kid area.
We took Grandmom shopping at Trader Joe's and Presley loved the kid size grocery carts.
More swim lesson pictures of my big boy jumping off the side!
We went to a new science museum one day too.
Making bubbles.
Grandmom and Pres tried to make their own paint like Tinkerbell and the Fairies do in one of her books.
Presley did great babysitting Fox and talking baby-talk to him.
Daddy's big helper fixing the chair.
Sweet Fox at our playdate! Giving me smiles
We had a fun playdate in Emily's backyard. Playing the water table, pool and moon dough.
We got to enjoy a big screen movie night in Dallie's driveway one night. The kids loved watching their minion movie on the huge screen!
Cameron taught David how to go potty outside in the grass, which he thought was hilarious!
G flew in that morning for Anna's birthday and all our other fun activities! We were so glad she got to come in town and spend time with the kids. Presley was thrilled to have her in town for so long and get to play with her. I'm so glad G was here for Anna's first birthday!! It's so hard to be away from family for these milestones and I'm so thankful she was able to celebrate with Anna! We missed all our other family that couldn't be there.
Enjoying a pool side picnic.
