Lately

April has been a busy month for us. David is now 17 months old and Presley is counting down the days till her birthday. Her dance class had a recital preview of their dance and costumes last week. She did such a great job, can't wait to watch her on stage. 

David is as busy as ever! The other day, he wanted to get up on the potty. I was very excited that he's starting to get interested in it. We'll see where this goes!

Presley wore one of my old dresses to church the other day. She loves to wear things that were mine or Olivia's. She also loves to go through Baby Lala's closet and hear stories of who bought what outfits for her and when she wore them. Her and David both love to flip through all our photo albums, too and hear stories from growing up.

We have had some awesome weather, than a random snow day. I really can't quite figure out the Colorado weather. One minute, you're sweating in the sun, the next you need your jacket back on. It just changes so drastically. It was beautiful today, hot and sunny and Tuesday we're getting snow and back in the 30's.  We are really enjoying the spring days and hoping to get more of those soon!

We did enjoy a picnic at the park on one of the pretty days.

 

Then, we got creative with some indoor activities when it snowed two days later. 

Making spaceships and pretending to be astronauts while mommy was the alien.

We attempted our first sock bun for ballet class last week. Amelia taught me how to do it over Easter and she looked like the perfect ballerina!

We are excited for G to get here this week and start the birthday festivities!
