Spring Break and Easter

Presley was on Spring Break last week. Our library was having a week's worth of fun activities so we went there a lot!  David enjoys playing with the cars there. 

 Presley likes the puppets and picking out some books. She loves to find books about all different kinds of animals.

 Amelia and Daniel came for Easter weekend. I'm sure we wore them both out, but we had a blast! We crammed a lot of activities into about 3 days. One of our first stops was Garden of the Gods. I have been wanting to go here ever since we moved. Thankfully, we had awesome weather! 

 We had some playtime at home. Amelia even helped me finish Presley's birthday invitations. 

 Daniel got to a wild bunny to eat from his hand... 

We got to celebrate Daniel's birthday and even got a fun, adult dinner out!

 We took them to eat at our favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant in the mountains. 

 And walked around downtown Manitou Springs one afternoon. 

 And we had to take them back to the zoo, where Meha got Presley a delicious treat!

 We were going to roast marshmallows in our fire pit one night, but the wind picked up. Presley enjoyed roasting them inside, although she did not like the taste.

 Then, Easter morning came! Presley was so excited.. she peeked downstairs before coming to wake up me and Cameron. She told us it was Amazing what the Easter bunny had left. She said he brought the salty people that Daniel likes to eat (Sour Patch Kids) cause he must not have known that she didn't like to eat them. The Easter bunny left a trail of cotton balls for Presley to follow and find her basket.  It was hiding in the dining room.

David woke up about 30 minutes after her and tore through his basket pretty quickly!

 I wasn't so prepared for Easter church... I forgot to wash my pants, iron Presley's dress, you name it... We made it work, though! David wore one of Cameron's outfits when he was little. He looked precious and Presley was fine picking out a different dress that didn't require ironing :)

We loved having Amelia and Daniel visit us and had so much fun all weekend with them!! We can't wait for them to come back soon!
