Bye Bye, Colorado!

Mallie and Dallie flew up to Colorado for one last visit, but also to drive to Texas with me and the kids. Cameron stayed behind to oversee the packing and loading of all our things and finish working. We left at 5am, everyone wide awake and ready to go! We pulled in to Texas around 6pm that night, thanks to Dallie's expertise packing and driving. We made great time and the kids were all so wonderful!! I couldn't have asked for a better trip! They watched a few movies, took naps, ate some snacks and no complaining!
The day after we arrived in Texas, David started potty training.  He has enjoyed going on the potty for a while now so I knew he was ready. We did the 3 day potty training that I used with Presley and he took to it very well. Thanks for all the support and all my helpers who took him potty when the timer went off and I was not in the room or busy with Anna. He is very proud of himself and he should be! Such a big boy!!
We had lots of cousin time while being in Texas.  When we first arrived, the kids made a list of all the summer activities they wanted to do while we were in town. I think we accomplished all of them by the time my kids actually left.
David's balloon to celebrate potty training.
Amelia did Presley's hair like Anna. She loved it. Amelia also took Pres to Sephora for an hour and half! They smelled every perfume, looked at every color lip gloss and had a great time together. She even got her first sephora makeup (little glittery blush, nail polish and a lip gloss). Thanks, Godmother, for making her day!
Ready for their shopping trip, complete with purse!
Sweet man eating his cookie Amelia brought him back.
New train set Mallie got him for going potty so well!
Me and the kids spent the night at the Barkers one night. The "twins" had a great time playing with all their toys. Anna was so precious giving Nora kisses.
Modeling our new baby legs from Aunt Em.
We had a fun playdate with our old playgroup at the indoor soccer field one morning. The kids had a great time running around.
We enjoyed lots of pool time at Mallie and Dallie's.
Anna got to dip her feet in.
 Being thrown by Uncle Daniel
Tippy and Alex were in town and helped Presley plan a tea party for all the girls. She worked so hard on all the decorations and food. Everything turned out so great! Tippy took her shopping to Michael's and picked out some cute stuff.
 Decorating cookies
She told Bryn, "Pinkies up". Tippy bought the girls this cute, pink tea set to use.
Presley made the most beautiful name cards for everyone.
Anna woke up halfway through the tea party and got to enjoy some of the treats.
Sugar high after the treats from the tea party!
David got to eat some treats too after his nap.
Tippy made a cute scavenger hunt for the big kids and they all got prizes when they figured out the last clue. Nora and Anna got these cute sunglasses they both loved!
We had quite the crew at storytime that week!
Liam read David some of the books they picked out. David followed him around the whole time we were there. He loves Liam and Liam is so good to him to always play trucks or sit with him while David is on the potty. He even took David potty for me a few times when we were first training. He is such a sweet boy and a great big brother to all these younger kids!
So glad our visits overlapped again. We had a lot of fun playing with Tippy and Alex.
Pres and Bryn took a tap and ballet dance class together. It was so cute to see them interact and tell the teacher they are cousins. I know this won't happen often so I'm really glad they got to do this together since they both love dance so much.
Anna is quite the Ritz fanatic! This is how she spent dance class...
We had lots of scooter time while we were there. So glad these made the last minute cut into my car for the kids to enjoy!
More pics to come... since we were in Texas for 3 weeks!
