October 2016

October has come and gone so quickly. We've been busy and had a wonderful month!
Anna started taking ballet lessons through her preschool and loves it.
David is excelling in school- he has learned all the sounds letters make, vowels, can count past 100 and has made some great friends at school.
Presley had several 4 day weekends in October and it was so nice to have the extra time to play with her.
Wild man being crazy in the car
Cameron rented a cabin at Uchee Creek for us one weekend. We had a really great time. The kids loved the cabin, seeing the deer and going on hikes. We also went fishing, made amores and played outside all day. It was a really fun weekend. We will definitely be going back.
They were great at collecting sticks for the fire.
Since Pres had a holiday, one of her friends had a big outdoor movie party on Sunday night. She had a wonderful time staying up late and playing.
David's baseball season ended at the end of the month. He had a great season and even got to play catcher a few times. He was so thrilled to have Cameron coach him. It was a great bonding time for both of them. He learned a lot and really enjoyed the game.  It'll be interesting to see if he picks soccer or baseball to play in the spring.
Enjoying lunch outside with his preschool buddies
We had a few more Auburn football games we got to enjoy.
The Pough's came with us to one of our last games. We had a great time tailgating with them and hanging out.
 Fall Festival at David's school
Mallie and Dallie came in town for his last game. He was so happy to have them there watching him.
He was Captain America this year for Halloween.
While they were in town, they helped volunteer to do pumpkin math at Presley's school with her class.   She really enjoyed having them there.
And David got to celebrate his birthday early with them.
And got a new bigger bike!
We trick-or-treated that Saturday night on post and it was fun to share that with Mallie and Dallie too.
Presley was a black cat, David was Captain America and Anna was Elena of Avalor.
The Village kids enjoyed cupcakes and chili at the Rhodes house before heading out to trick-or-treat
Stopping by Maleficent's house is a must on Halloween!!
