Memorial Day 2016

We went up to Rough River for Memorial Day this year. School had just ended and Cameron had a long weekend. It was a long drive, but so worth the trip!! We had so much fun hanging out at the lake. I'm so grateful to be able to share such a big part of my childhood with my kids and Cameron and see them really enjoy it. We went for boat rides, played with Dottie, relaxed on the porch, went on golf cart rides, played with Mallie, Dallie and Uncle Alex and Rere and Lee. It was a fun trip!!
The water was ICE cold, but the kids didn't mind. They just wanted in!
Cameron took David fishing one afternoon.
The kids all loved playing with Dottie.
SMORES
Quick potty break...
It was about a 9 hour drive, but we enjoyed every minute of it! So grateful to be back on the side of the country where we get to see so much of our families and catch up again.
We started summer off with a lot of fun and activities! David finished up swim lessons, Presley started a cheer and tumbling camp, saw lots of kids movies on the Imax theater at the Infantry Museum, and we had lots of playdates with friends at the community pool.  Here we are at the new trampoline park that just opened.
We went to Birmingham the next weekend to celebrate Addie, Anna and Presley's birthdays together since we all had been busy in the spring.
Leaving the pool one day seeing how blonde her hair has gotten.
 Enjoying the splash park downtown.
 And some Planet Pops
