Sickness Strikes

We had a rough week in early March. David got a terrible stomach bug that knocked him out for a solid 5 days. He was in such bad shape, napped on the couch all day, didn't want to move... it was so pitiful.
Mark stopped by one night to visit the kids and check on David.
Anna enjoyed seeing her BFF, Mawk.
Presley had Dr. Seuss's Birthday week at school and got to dress up every day. The first day was crazy socks and she loved the ones we picked out at Target.
The same week David had the virus, Anna was teething Big time! She wasn't sleeping well and wanted to "nuggle."
Sweet man fell asleep in my bed waiting on Pres to brush her teeth.
Enjoying David getting to watch lots of shows.
Finally, started feeling a little better and getting his appetite back.
 Nuggling with Dada.
And he was finally back... wanted to play trucks!
And there's a big smile, and the helmet! So glad this little man is feeling better!!
Trying to pick a hat for crazy hat day at school... chef hat or...
 coyote ears.
Anna and I flew to KY a few days after David got better to host Brittany's baby shower with my sisters. It was a great, whirlwind weekend, but I'm so glad we got to be there. It was so fun to get to spend time with Brittany and my sisters. I loved catching up in person and getting to chat with Brittany about babies. Can't wait to meet her sweet, little Dottie.
Boarding the plane with her sparkly purse.
Eating dinner at Tim and Debbie's with Nono and Bryn.
 Eating popcorn from Tim.
 Hanging out at the shower.
 Slumber party
Loved seeing so many of my family!!
Headed home. This little one was a trooper for the little sleep she got all weekend, but we made it home and she slept 13 hours straight that night. She missed her dad and Pres and David so much!
And we were back at our normal routine the next day going to our exercise class. Anna loves to help me try to exercise.
David and Pres had a great weekend with Daddy. They got to go to work with him, venture out to Chuck E Cheese, have pizza and movie night, and lots of outdoor playtime. I'm so glad Cameron and Sam were here to take care of the kids while I was gone.
Poor David had sudden pain last week and ended up with a double ear infection. He's had a rough go these past few weeks, but hoping he's on the mend for good! I knew something was wrong when he randomly fell asleep on the couch in the middle of the afternoon.
Anna sure made the ER visit more interesting, but we were in and out in 45 minutes. I was grateful for that!
I had made his favorite that night, spaghetti and meatballs, and he had slept the whole time the girls and I had dinner. When we got in from the ER, that's all he wanted was to finish his meal.
He was so much better even the next morning. We played at home for a while just in pjs. These are Anna's favorite jammies right now, Minnie Mouse with her Doc McStuffins socks.
My beautiful girls getting dressed for the day. Presley has been so sweet and involved with Anna lately. She will ask Anna if she can put her shoes on her, and gives her jewelry and sticker earrings. I love seeing them bond over girly things.
This kid would be outside all day if he could. He loves to play in the back yard. He will drag out all the toys from the garage and push his truck all in the rock area. I am dreading when the weather gets too hot for him to be outdoors a lot. He's living it up right now
Wanted his shirt off like daddy.
He's been playing a counting game and doing really well.
Presley was hiding her gold coin from school for David and Anna to find. They had to cover their eyes.
These kids make me laugh so much! Can't imagine life without these three!
