The Smith Girls Week

Presley has had another fun week. Aunt Rachel and G are in town and we're having lots of fun. Cameron was in LA for the week, so we've had a week of girly lunches, shopping and girly movies. Presley is a shopping pro now. She's 9 lbs, 13 oz already. She's getting too big. We are all having so much fun just staring at her all day and trading turns holding our baby. She just makes us laugh with all her new facial expressions. She loves playing with her tongue and is starting to talk and coo more and more.

We took Presley to the Arboretum this week to get some pictures in the flowers. We'll probably get better pictures when she's a little older and can sit up on her own, but these turned out pretty cute!

One month old and lots of visitors!!

It's so hard to believe that our little baby is already one month old!! We have been super busy the past few weeks. She got to meet her Aunt Charelette and Uncle Craig this weekend. They were both so great with Presley, they're going to be wonderful parents and we can't wait to meet Caden in July.





Aunt Rachel and G flew in town on Sunday and are getting in some quality Presley snuggle time! We have had a fun few days so far and have lots of things planned for the next two weeks. We're getting in lots of lunches and shopping while Cameron is out of town.




Cousin Liam gave Presley this Wubanub pacifier and she tried it out for the first time today.... I think she likes it. She hugged on it all day!



We also tested out her play mat today and got in some "tummy time". She loved her play mat. Our little baby is growing so fast.... she's started cooing and talking to us. She has the sweetest voice!!


Here's a video of Presley talking to her daddy. She's already such a big girl talking and so alert!! This was her outfit for her first pool party on Memorial Day. She totally looked the part!

4 Weeks Old

Presley will be 4 weeks old tomorrow!!! I know this is crazy, but it does make me sad sometimes to look at her and know how fast she's already growing. She's really filling out in her cheeks and starting to get some rolls in her wrists and legs. They're so cute!!!

Presley got to meet Libby this past weekend! We had a great time catching up and Presley was so good! She went shopping, lunch with the girls and of course, Babies R Us. Her first lunch date was actually with mom and Lynn to Olive Garden (did you really think it'd be somewhere else??) We're excited this weekend cause Craig and Charelette are coming in to town, then Lea and Aunt Rachel will be here on Sunday.

Presley meets Aunt Amelia

Presley got to meet Aunt Amelia this weekend! Amelia just ate her up every chance she could. We had a great weekend. Presley got to go out to lots of lunch dates and some shopping. Amelia has already begun teaching Presley all about fashion and what not to wear. This could be trouble for daddy's pocketbook :) We're so glad she got to visit and Presley already is wondering why she's on her boppy and not being held....

I took this one this morning after her bath- I was trying to get her hair. There were some in the front that were so curly and would not lay down. She's definitely got her daddy's hair! I can't wait to see how curly it gets!

Happy Mother's Day

We have been busy this past week! Presley has had lots of visitors including Keila, Emily and Liam, Lynn, Wayne and Alyson and Bert, Anna and Ellie! We're so blessed she's such a loved baby. Thank you everyone for all the great snacks and support. It has made these first few weeks a lot easier. We did take Presley on her first few outings this weekend. She went to her Mallie and Dallie's house Friday night to watch the Rangers game. Then Saturday she had her first (of many) trips to the mall. Don't worry- we weren't there more than an hour and she slept the whole time. Last night, she went out for her first dinner date to sushi. She was a perfect angel on all these outings! We went to the pediatrician Friday and our little piggy is now weighing in at 8lbs! She's already growing so big, it's amazing. She did have to go get her neonatal screen done Friday and that was very hard to watch. She let that poor nurse know that she did not like having her heel pricked. At least no more of that till her 2 month appt.

This is really the closest that either of the cats will get to her. They are very scared of her, especially if they walk up while she's moving.

Liam loves to read books! It's amazing how at such a young age, he'll sit still and move his head as you flip the pages. We're definitely going to be reading to Presley so she'll enjoy it as much as her cousin.... our little bookworms! I keep trying to catch a picture of her smiling. She usually gives me a goofy looking smile right after she eats....so far, these are the only two I've been able to kind of catch.

Cameron gave Presley her first bottle this weekend! They both did great with it- she's already such a big girl!!

Here we are on our first Mother's Day! I got a beautiful necklace with her birthstone- which just happens to be diamond :) Poor Cameron checked 3 websites to make sure that was right. Happy Mother's Day to everyone!!
