Presley turned 9 months old on Jan. 24. It is so hard to believe 9 months have already passed since she came into this world. She really has been the biggest blessing in our lives. She keeps us entertained constantly and never ceases to amaze us. We went for her check-up on Thursday and after I checked us in, she told the nurses "Thank you" (in her mumbled speech of course), but they all understood what she meant. She also says "Bye Bye" and waves furiously, Da-da, ba-ba, la-la and I guess thank you. It amazes us how quick she is to pick up on things. She loves to try to repeat what we say. She's still eating solids really well. Liam has taught her to love puffs. Now if only he'll teach her to eat her green veggies...She plays really hard all day- Her favorite toys are her drumsticks, ball popper from Uncle Craig and Aunt Charelete, crazy coupe car from Mallie and Dallie and her blocks from G and Big D. She's definitely got Liam's love of books and likes to read a few in the mornings. She loves to clap and will laugh if she hears anyone else laughing. She's still sleeping WONDERFULLY. Uncle Nick is always amazed that she'll wake up 2-3 hours after Liam in the mornings. She goes to bed around 6:30-7 and doesn't get up till 7:30-9:30... the 9:30 days are not as often, but probably twice a week! Needless to say, mommy can't complain about lack of sleep :)
She is 17lbs, 10oz (25%), 27" long (27%) and 78% for her head circumference! (Guess she's got our Bacon head.) She's growing on a great curve for her little self. I wish she had gained more weight, but seems like she'll be a petite little girl. The doctor said she's doing great and showing good progress with her development. Here's some recent pics:
I didn't get a pic of the finished product yet (had to come home for lunch and nap), but I'll post one when she wakes up. We also got in on video... yes, we were those people at the salon!
